With M-Tronic and 2-MIX technology included with this model as standard, the MS 201 TC-M is ideal for trained professionals working in an aerial environment. With a choice of 12 inch / 30 cm or 14 inch / 35 cm bar lengths available.

Practical, intelligent design, for professionals only
Due to its top-handled control, the MS 201 TC-M is specially designed for use in aerial environments and is only suitable for fully trained professionals.  It comes with a fold-out hook that serves as a carrying rope attachment for lowering the saw, as well as for security. The scabbard included snaps directly onto the sprocket so that it's firmly attached. It has two suspension eyelets that allow you to secure it to your harness with a rope. The chain tensioner is located at the side of the machine so that you don't have to touch the sharp saw chain.

With its 2-MIX STIHL engine, this saw has efficient and powerful performance that you can rely on. The M-Tronic electronic engine management system makes manual carburettor adjustments unnecessary, and ensures consistent engine performance, a constant maximum speed and superb acceleration. The Ematic chain lubrication ensures pinpoint lubrication of the saw chain links and guide bar rails, providing maximum lubrication, longer wear and less oil consumption than conventional methods.

Comfortable operation
This machine has STIHL's anti-vibration technology built-in, which keeps vibrations at the handles at a minimum by reducing engine oscillations. The ElastoStart system reduces the shock caused by the compression of the engine during starting, keeping fatigue through operation as low as possible. All the important operating functions such as start, choke, throttle and stop are all housed on a single lever, making using the unit as simple as possible.
